Fantastic warm welcome from Paul. Location 10/10, less than five mins walk to the sea and shops. House was spotless, very comfortable with excellent facilities. We wanted for nothing. The welcome pack was delightful and very thoughtful. The love for Sheringham shone through and it’s well justified! Thoroughly recommend, wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Everything about our stay was perfect, from the moment we were greeted by Paul till the day we (reluctantly) left for home! Our party was 3 generations, from Grandparents (over 21) down to 2 year old Grandson, and the accommodation and location was perfect for us all!

We've had a lovely sunny week. We enjoyed a lovely walk along the cliffs and back along the beach to West Runton. We went on the steam trains from Sheringham to Holt. Mabel Cottage is perfect for going to the beach.

I had a wonderful stay in Mabel Cottage and cannot think of any faults or areas to improve - it was fantastic.

This was our fifth time at Mabel cottage and, as always, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is clean and comfortable and is only a short stroll from the beach and the shops. The decor and facilities are regularly maintained and updated. The owner, Paul, is the best host you could imagine: friendly, helpful, but not intrusive in any way. This is a lovely place to stay in Sheringham and I would recommend it to anyone.

Mabel Cottage is a well-equipped and well-appointed property in a great location. The cottage is warm, the WiFi fast, the towels big and fluffy and the beds comfortable. Thought has been put into making the cottage as COVID-safe as you can get in these uncertain times and we felt very happy staying there. Paul was a very welcoming and considerate host who promptly answered any queries we had throughout our stay and was able to give us ideas on where to visit. There is no allocated parking space with the cottage but we did not encounter any issues finding a space outside of, or near to the cottage in mid-October.

This "Cottage" is fitted out at a very high standard set close both to the town centre and the beach in a quite side street. We have now stayed at Mabel Cottage twice the 1st time some 10 years ago and we can't recommend it more highly. Excellent should be registered as 5 star.

Mabel Cottage is comfortable, warm and well equipped. The technology is good and the beds are comfortable. We liked having a separate dining room, next to the kitchen and a well furnished sitting room. The owner was very helpful, providing guidance on all equipment, a welcome pack and lovely Christmas decorations. He also made sure we could park two cars near the property on arrival. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
