Visit North Norfolk's unspoilt coastline and countryside

Sheringham    Diverse - Unique - Special

Sheringham is a traditional seaside town set in beautiful North Nofolk countryside. Surrounded by hills woods and the sea, there are a wealth of things to do, places to visit and local food to enjoy.

The beach has a life guard service in season and has vast expanses of sand when the tide is out.

Sheringham is home to The North Norfolk Steam Railway, the Splash Centre with its tropically heated pool and wave machine. There are excellent golf courses at Sheringham and Cromer and a diverse range of locally run and owned shops, including bakers, fishmongers and two excellent butchers.

The Sheringham Little Theatre, always has excellent productions and also doubles up as a cinema.

You will not be short of choice for where to eat, there are many restaurants, bistros, cafes, tearooms and pubs serving good food within easy walking distance of the cottage. The local fishermen land crab, lobster and seabass in season and local mussels from Morston are exceptional too.
