We have had a relaxing time, the location and layout make the cottage a pleasent place to be, quiet and well placed with regard to access to the town centre. Marmalade's restaurant was exceptional.
The cottage is beautifully clean and warm, the "Welcome Pack" was more than welcoming! We plan to be back again and will recommend it too our friends. Zoe Danny and Val, Cambridge.

About our 5th visit we think! Once again we have really had a very enjoyable visit to Mabel Cottage and Sheringham. Only been to Sheringham as a "day tripper" in the past. So glad we decided to make a week of it this time. Everyone is so polite and the local shop staff are eager to please. Thank you for everything again, we've had another fantastic week in Sheringham. We discover something new everytime. This year Sheringham Park, Langham Glass and we had an amazing meal at Crofters the Austrian restaurant in the high street. Another lovely holiday in Sheringham. Weather mostly beautiful and beaches gorgeous. Everything we needed was in the cottage, which is a home from home. We've had a lovely week here in Mabel Cottage with our son, his wife & children from Cheltenham. The weather wasn't the best but we found plenty to occupy us all - golf for the men folk and sunny days on the beach etc.
As always everything was clean and homely - areal home from home - the two new tele's were great with the children's tastes some what different to adults.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The cottage was ideal in every way. Location was good, equipment excellent - you've thought of everything! We felt at home immediately. Thank you from our son Ben for the toys supplied - he really enjoyed a new range of toys, especially as he could only bring a small selection from New Zealand. We have really enjoyed our holiday again, our seventh visit staying in Mabel Cottage, thank you so much. We have had sunshine and blue skies everyday. We had our first visit to Sheingham Park and thought it was outstanding. We also went to East Ruston Old Vicarage Gardens which were amazing, including the different breeds of chickens!. We have had wonderful weather and done many new activities, like going to Pensthorpe Nature Reserve, walking the coastal path and going to the new Sheringham Mo museum. This is our third visit to Mabel Cottage and the place gets better and better. We've spent a lot of time on the beach and the weather has been kind to us. We've enjoyed the new televisions!
Highlights this week have included as always the North Norfolk Railway and the Beeston Hills Putting Green. We also enjoyed Cromer Pier and the girls really liked the visiting Circus. Hopefully we'll be back this time next year! Philip, Helen, Emily & Abigail , Herts.

Our last minute decision to have a short break was a complete success, not least because of Mabel Cottage - warm, comfortable and welcoming in all respects. We have all loved our stay at Mabel Cottage - this is our first visit and will most definitely not be our last, its a perfect place to stay. The child friendly features made the stay very easy and the toys and games were a great addition for a lively 2 year old boy!

Our third stay at Mabel Cottage - nice new improvements, we ate in the conservatory or garden. Weather mostly good but a little rainy at times. Found the Kings Head at Letheringsett - fantastic food and a lovely garden for the boys to play in.

The best welcome pack! Loved the wine. Had weather as if abroad so been to many different beaches. Cookies seafood restaurant at Salthouse fantastic but important to book. Sandringham is really worth a visit to see the Queen's 'holiday home' in Norfolk.
What really is lovely is to go to 'The Funky Mackerel" on the seafront at Sheringham, which opens at 7.30am and sit outside and get a coffee and watch the sea after an early morning walk.
The cottage has everything, lovely to have the garden. It was all so clean, the beds so comfy and the wonderful bedlinen.
We are sad to go but before we do, we will have one last walk by the sea and breakfast in the Funky Mackerel. We will be back ... Dawn and Laura - Hampton

What lovely stay we have had at Mabel Cottage. The kitchen is lovely and very well equipped. We loved having breakfast in the conservatory whilst enjoying the morming sun and the late evening afternoon drink in the garden. The range of shops in Sheringham is lovely and we found lots to see and do in the area. The cottage is exceptionally well furnished and equipped and there are lots of thoughtful extra touches. We have had a lovely week in Sheringham, made even more enjoyable by staying in Mabel Cottage. We have been coming to Sheringham for about 20 years, we couldn't have found a nicer place to stay than here.
It is comfortable, cosy and has a lovely homely feel to it. The welcome pack is a very nice extra showing lots of thought. It was lovely to return to Mabel Cottage after our first visit last year. We've really enjoyed going to the beach nearly every day (despite the chilly breeze!). It was good to visit The Mo so soon after opening. We've really liked finding the lobsters on the lobster trail and no visit to Sheringham is complete with a trip on the railway.
The only times we left Sheringham are to go on the Wells & Walsingham light railway (get there early or wrap up warm for the open topped carriages) and we went to Norwich on the train.
Mabel Cottage is a real home from home in a delightful location. The new kitchen is great! We look forward to coming back again and again. Thank you for the warm welcome too.. Philip, Helen, Emily and Abigail.

A lovely week in an exceptional holiday home. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return. Even though the weather has not been brilliant we found plenty to do (and still have lots left on out list which we didn't get round to!)

This our our third stay to Mabel Cottage and there's no where else we would rather be for our holidays - its so perfect! We discover something new each time - this time we went to Bewilderwood, a great adventure park for grown-ups and kids!
Right on our doorstep we walked along the promenade, up some steps and found the a lovely putting green (which we are saving for next year!). We also walked to the top of Beeston Bump which was great!

We've had a fantastic week. Mabel Cottage has been all we hoped for and the girls have loved spending time here.
Highlights have been the two railway trips (Bure Valley and North Norfolk), climbing Beeston Bump and a couple of rounds on the Beeston putting course (its fiendish!).
